The McKean County Collaborative Board

What We Do

The McKean County Collaborative Board is a community-improvement partnership comprised of parents, citizens, elected officials, and representatives from the health, business, human service, faith-based and education sectors. It was established in 1996 with the goal of improving McKean County child and family well-being. Board members work together to:

  • coordinate services for families
  • engage citizens in community improvements
  • identify local needs and strategies to address those needs
  • maximize public and private funding for Board sponsored projects
Meetings of the Collaborative Board are held at least six times a year. View the Community Calendar to see the dates and times of the upcoming meetings.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a safe and positive environment where citizens will be healthy, educated and responsible community members.
