Featuring 24-hour awake supervision, video surveillance, and delayed-lock alarmed doors, this 10-bed facility also has on-site laundry, food service, two classrooms and a gymnasium. Alternative Education/Intensive Treatment Program 814-362-6568 814-642-2902 Eligibility: Determined by the school district Targeted age groups: School-age children Fee for service: No Beacon Light operates multiple privately licensed alternative education classrooms designed to provide additional support to students with special needs, or those unable to participate in a regular education classroom due to mental health or behavioral concerns. Autistic support, life skills, and special education are among the many customized educational settings available. The Intensive Treatment Program (ITP) provides students with additional therapeutic support at the end of the academic day. Group and individual therapy are designed to address mental health and behavioral needs. Outpatient Mental Health 814-642-7772 Eligibility: Those with mental health needs Targeted age groups: All Fee for service: Insurance, Self-Pay, Medicare, Medicaid Outpatient mental health services provide professional counseling to children and adults with a variety of mental health concerns. Master’s and PhD level clinicians provide individual, family, group, and couples’ counseling, as well as psychiatric and psychological testing and evaluation. Consultation is also available regarding probation, dependency and geriatric issues. Residential Treatment 814-362-6565 Eligibility: Physician ordered Targeted age groups: Age 7-18 Fee for service: No Residential Treatment is for children and adolescents age 7-18 who require out-of-home placement for behavioral health issues. Eight group homes throughout the Bradford community provide 24-hour awake supervision in a structured yet caring setting. Residents receive both individual and family counseling on a weekly basis. Beacon Light also provides specialized residential treatment for youth identified with juvenile sexual offending behaviors. Community Based Wraparound 814-362-5245 Eligibility: Physician recommended Targeted age groups: Age 2-21 Fee for service: No Community Based Wraparound services are designed to provide support to children and adolescents in a natural setting: whether at home, in school, or in the community. Supported by the child’s family, services work to transfer necessary skills to caretakers and children. Treatment Foster Care 814-362-5245 Eligibility: Children needing foster care and treatment support Targeted age groups: Age 2-21 Fee for service: No Treatment Foster Care is designed for individuals who are not yet ready to return home from care, but who do not require the level of intense treatment provided in an RTF. Individuals reside in natural homes with trained foster parents who provide support and care. Clients meet with Master’s level staff on a weekly basis for support of mental health and behavioral issues. Specialized Foster Care for individuals with a history of sexual offense is also available. Ramsbottom Center/Adult Day Services 814-362-5250 814-362-7405 Eligibility: Mental Retardation diagnosis Targeted age group(s): Age 18+ Fee for service: No Ramsbottom Center, Inc. is licensed as an Intermediate Care Facility for individuals 18 and over with mental retardation/developmental disability (ICF-MR). Individuals receive care in either one of three cottages or through community based group homes with staff support. Many residents also participate in the Adult Day Services (ADS) program, where they learn skills for self-support and independence. |
