For low vision rehabilitation—severe impairment Fee: No fees, however there is a sliding scale fee for low vision rehabilitation and insurances are billed. Provides blindness prevention services that includes pre-school vision screening for 1-6 year old children, child eye safety education, and reduced cost eye care for low-income children and adults. Low vision rehabilitation services include evaluations, magnification assistance and follow-up/occupational therapy. Specialized services include blindness skills training, support groups, recreational activities, chore services, shopping, mail, bill and banking assistance, and transportation and escort services. |
